The way I’ve always interpreted it is that the girl is acting ashamed because shame makes things dirtier. It isn’t anything to do with her acting like her vagina’s too tight because lots of times a girl acts that way just cause she took off her shirt or someone touched her boob. I can’t stand it though, I can never tell if the girl is acting or if she seriously feels like puking. ---

Yes, it’s very strange, isn’t it? As far as I can ascertain it is a cultural thing. The younger and more inexperienced, the better. So if she has no idea what’s going on and her vagina is so tight that normal sex hurts her, that’s a good thing. I’m sure somewhere on a Japanese board there’s a thread discussing why Americans like their men to be genetic mutants with 8 inch penises. ---

[/QUOTE] This has everything to do with Viagra, by the way. In the old days, if a guy could consistently get and maintain an erection on camera, he could get a job in porn, no matter how ugly he was. It’s a rarer talent than you’d think. These days porn producers can afford to be a lot more discriminating when it comes to the male talent. I’m guessing (but this is just a guess) that the reason there were so many big-dicked men in porn in the pre-Viagra days had something to do with confidence - I think it would be easier for a guy to get an erection in front of an audience if he wasn’t insecure about his penis size. ---

I wouldn’t really call it ‘‘desensitization’’ per se, but the more women have intercourse, the less likely they are to have pain from being too tight. Things really do get looser down there, and more accustomed to a good, hard dicking. I don’t really think it’s too far off base to suggest that women who have sex more often would be more physically comfortable with it. ---

To answer the OP my understanding is that the law in Japan allows porn to be filmed as long as the woman is depicted as not enjoying sex. I assume it’s to allow the guys to get their rocks off but also making sure that they don’t enjoy it too much. Perhaps a woman who appeared to enjoy would be considered promiscuous and therefore “damaging” to society. I know this sounds weird and I’m desperately searching for some evidence but (anecdotally) I’ve read this in more than one place. Here is a link I found with a quick search. The regular grunting and moaning noises that are common in western porn are just non-existent in J-porn. Instead, the actresses make a more high-pitched squealing noise during sex. In any case it’s a much more nasal sound. As for how that reflects reality, all the Japanese girlfriends I’ve had have made similar noises, albeit at lower volume, during sex. None of them were young, inexperienced little girls, and they were all enjoying themselves (at least that’s what they said). None of them made lower-pitched moans So, do they sound like that in bed because it’s what they think they should sound like from seeing porn, or do porn actresses sound like that because that’s what everyone already sounds like anyway (just more exaggerated)?
