# Why do Dell notebooks have the most generic, clunky and unimaginative designs?

There are some Mac notebook design details I wish were on PC notebooks like the magnetically coupled break away power supply connector that will detach from the machine if the cord is yanked or tripped over vs dragging the machine to the floor or destroying the motherboard.
