# Why do I feel stronger with a band-aid on my finger?

This phenomenon goes back to my childhood. I feel invincible with a bandaid on my finger, like I could kick the shit outta Mike Tyson. Is there something about having a nice snug thing around your finger?

IMO, For the same reason you feel like you can run faster when you purchase new sneakers, there are some aspects of our childhood we just never outgrow. 🙂
I know what they are talking about, but I’ll let one of them explain. :o
