Cats. From zero to nuts in 4.3 seconds. When I read this yesterday, I wondered if the cat could have gotten into somebody’s stash. Any chemicals that could do this to a walnut-sized brain? ---

Haha, Maybe I’m just crazy, but I loved the first half of this story. It was like something from a thriller novel. The descriptive detail he uses is great! It includes staredowns between the wild animal and the protective father, and then the law enforcer blasting holes in the cat’s chest. That’s what was funny to me, the way it was written. But anyways, kind of weird. That’s why you got to get a basset hound. Definitely not going to go crazy on you. I think I may want a cat one day though. For some reason animals tend to like me, and I really liked my sister’s cat before she had to give it away (her kid is alergic). He was really affectionate and he would come and cuddle up with you and go to sleep. I am kind of sad he’s not around anymore. But my parents dogs are crazy enough to be qualified as cat material. I have one dog who will start barking at you if you are wearing a strange pattern or even particular colors! No clue where that comes from. But he’s harmless, and being a very small sheltie, nobody’s scared of him! He plays second fiddle to the ultra dominate female sheltie we have who is bigger and much more assertive. Its funny, but all of the female dogs we’ve had have been really assertive. They don’t take nunthin from nobody! I don’t really miss my dogs, but its always fun to have them around. ---

I find this . . . hard to believe if not a bit disturbing. An 8 pound cat. A crazy ass 8 pound cat had to be taken out with a .40. ? But hey, if the bastard is going wild at your kids go for it I guess. ---

Interesting story… sad in a way though. Had it been declawed could it have been easier to handle… to ultimately find what the deal was? Probably not… as far as anyone was concerned it _was_ rabid. Poor little guy… didn’t even know what was going on. ---

Poor kitty. Wonder what on earth happened to it? Our cat Buckley went a little nuts (temporarily, thank goodness) when we brought a new cat into the house. It was scary even for me, and I don’t frighten easily when it comes to animals. But when Buckley would get in a mood, he’d attach himself to the couch–he looked a cat climbing a tree, except horizontal–and when I’d try to get him off there was NO WAY to move him. That’s when I realized how incredibly strong a pissed-off cat can be. I’d throw a blanket over him wrestle him out of the house, and he would bite me right through the blanket. Luckily, he’s calmed down, but there were moments when I really thought he’d have to be put down. There’s no way I’d let him be around the kids if he continued to carry on like that–he could have seriously hurt someone. ---

i noticed in the article that it said the house was under renovation… i’d bet money that Pyshco-Kitty got into some of the building materials and sniffed something better left un-sniffed. ---
