A common misconception is that Jews are referred to as Gentiles. Actually, there are three groups: the Saints (all Mormons), the Jews, and the Gentiles (everyone else). The term is not commonly used today but is in the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants where Jews are distinguished from Gentiles, as in D&C 20:9.
