Once a month? Goddamn. I clean my glasses with a spray and a microfiber cloth, and they are dirty again in an hour or two.
I never consciously touch my lenses, so I also wondered how they got fingerprints on them. Finally, I figured it out! It’s when I first get up in the morning and fish around for my glasses. That’s the only time I’m sloppy about getting my fingers on the lenses.
Hold on there, Mister! Do you think you can drop a bombshell like that and expect NOT to be asked for an explanation?
Apologies if you’ve discussed it elsewhere.
I bet after you put your glasses on, one of your very next stops is the bathroom. Wash your glasses then, and they’ll be fine all day.
Since the thread was bumped, can we get a review of the wipes you bought?
My sight is still good enough to get around without glasses if it doesn’t involve reading small script or driving a car, so I only put them on in the morning after I have done my bathroom routine and have dressed. But I sometimes have rather dry or itching eyes, so from time to time I wipe them with a finger, and that’s when the fingerprints on the lenses happen.
They both do a useful job, though I often follow them with a cloth wipe. They work great for cleaning my laptop screen.
