If you guys (Quercus and MikeF in particular) actually live in a gender-rigid world such as you describe, I am sincerely sorry for you.
Sorry, that was my weak attempt at self-deprecating humor. But, at least in my case, I DO take care of the lawn and do all the grilling, But I also do almost all of the rest of cooking and my own laundry (my male friends have a hard time with that one). She pays the bills and keeps the house pretty much spotless - one advantage of living with a borderline OCD person.
