Depends on how far you are going. I do the speed limit locally, but I speed on road trips. Driving from Virginia down to Florida, it can mean the difference of an extra hour or two driving.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention… the highway patrol cars in Arizona are mustangs.

The Wisconsin state cops used to have some kind of sports car, possibly an Iroc, as one of their semi-marked cars - lights mounted inside, “State Police” on the back bumper. The first time I saw one, I just thought those were bumper stickers on the rear, until I got close.
