Don’t they know I can’t sleep? It’s 5:30 am here, I’m exhausted but can’t sleep, and the birds are singing their friggin heads off. I’m so tempted just to stick my head out the winow and yell “Go away!” which would probably get them to scatter. Unfortunately, it would also get my neighbors to hunt me down. ---

I’m not sure but I think it’s where the expression “Birdbrain” comes from. They call it the dawn chorus on PBS shows. ---
