# Why do you drink?

I enjoy drinking wine in the evenings when I’m at home, but not usually to excess. One or two glasses makes me feel fine. However, if I go out to see bands or something I drink beer or mixed drinks and tend to get a little bent. It’s not usually a problem, but last weekend…wowza. I drank way too much and puked in my hair.

Simply answering the question, not having read all the previous replies yet…

When I drink large amounts, it’s because I like the feeling of being drunk. And after a day spent on my feet running around like a maniac for 8+ hours, having one or two drinks brings a nice physical calmness that I find hard to get elsewhere.
