Any real government agents post from secure keyboards that have CAPS LOCK permanently on, so i just figured you were lying about being an agent and ignored you. Now… if you were to type a MESSAGE IN ALL CAPS, like some former agents we knew… ---

I occasionally post long-ass analytical manifestos that get highly and effectively ignored, but I blame that less on the other Dopers as the fact that I’m posting long-ass analytical manifestos. Really, who has the time? ---

I’m more surprised when people do notice my posts. I don’t feel like I’ve made much of an impression on people, and I’m always grateful when someone indicates that I have. Until the day comes when someone says, “That **Telperien** really gets up my nose,” or worse. ---

There’s definitely some posters that only respond to certain other posters. Some respond to me and some would not in a million years. Doesn’t bother me at all- just speak your mind and don’t worry about responses. ---

Me too. Also the forum makes a difference. I would never say in GQ “Agent Foxtrot is 100% right and here is my take on what he said.” While I might do that in other forums. ---
