**Serious question** - Why is it that people decide to do searches at night. The boards seem (or have done over the past week or so) to get _slower_ the less people are on it! Sometimes it seems like no-one is here (nothing seems to be being posted to) and yet it is soooo slugish. Assuming the explanation that “during quiet times - lots of searching can cause the unresponsiveness” (not same words) is true - Are there are dopers that do searches out of spite?? ---

That just seems silly. I know I do more searches at night because there’s no one here to “talk” to - no one’s updating threads, and I’m all caught up on reading what I’m interested in, and I’m not tired yet, so I go off and search. It’s that or Solitaire when everyone else here is asleep, and I suck at Solitaire. ---

“Don’t listen to UncleBeer – that’s just a cover story. The moderators actually have a setting for each user that determines their load speed. If the board suddenly starts loading really slow, that means you’ve done something wrong and they’re angry with you. They can be very tempermental.” My load speed is usually pretty dang fast… They like me! They actually like me. Well… it’s either that or the cable connection. 🙂 ---

I don’t know of a word for wolverine. Bearing in mind this is just the dialect I know - How about something like _rushto tawno ruv_ or angry little wolf. If I knew the correct Romani, I’d call it a big ferret - _baro_ ferret. Fuck it, little wolf sounds cool. ---

And just as I clicked submit, I thought of another dialect where a little wolf may be called a ruvoro or ruvori. Don’t know for sure though, just know that ~oro(m) or ~ori(f) tagged on the end of a word means that it’s small. In other words - fucked if I know. ---
