If you’re growing in a new beard, you are probably unthinkingly messing with your beard several times a day. Force yourself to refrain from touching your face (except for washing and applying hand lotion) for 3 or 4 days, and the problem will go away. It sounds simple, but the struggle to not touch your face can make you want to scream. :eek: ---

Just to answer some of the questions and suggestions: I shower every day. I don’t have dry skin on my face (my face is somewhat oily). I’ve had a goatee for ages, which I keep at varying lengths. It’s when I get to about that 4 week mark after the last clipping that the itching begins. So, given that everything else remains the same, why my skin suddenly start to itch?
