# Why does not the previous track button in Windows Media Player work?

You can click it rapidly and all it does is take you back to the beginning of the current track. That, the idea of a previous track button is not.

Which version of Media Player are you using? Mine’s version 10, and the previous track button works just fine.

Have you downloaded the latest version. Your present or old may be missing a link to some library or something.
