# Why does SDMB load SO SLOW?

I have broad-band, yet SMDB loads very slow, and often fails. No other site I frequent behaves that way.

Is that what other people experience? is there something I can do?

There are tons and _tons_ of threads on this subject over at ATMB, **aka\_10003**. It’s mainly down to the popularity of the site, versus the capacity of the hamsters to spin th’ little wheels.

I swear, I think ~20% of the problem is all the people asking about it.
