# Why does the Google Play website make my computer work so hard?

Whenever I go to that website to browse apps I may want to add to my phone, my computer slows down as i’m scrolling and the fan on my laptop comes on as if I were playing a resource heavy game that was really heating up my processor/graphics card. Why?
