Never said it was slacking and screwing around - not even close. What I keep saying is that if the employer can go out in the street and flag down nearly anyone to replace you, it is up to you to give him/her a reason not to. In this case, employees are essential to the continued operation of the business (whether it’s the local bodega or Wally World); a particular employee is not.
