[This one](http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/jargon/html/entry/Godwin's-Law.html)

As far as I can tell I coded it properly, but VB refuses to create a link in the message…

[To make sure I’m doing it correctly, this link to TSD should work](http://www.straightdope.com). Yup, it does.

Anyone?

It looks like vBcode doesn’t like a single quote in the URL. Try replacing the single quote with %27, i.e.
[Godwin’s Law](http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/jargon/html/entry/Godwin%27s-Law.html)

should show up like this:
[Godwin’s Law](http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/jargon/html/entry/Godwin%27s-Law.html)

I think I’m the boor who posted that and then failed to make sure it actually worked.

Sorry!

Nope. That one wasn’t mine.
