# Why Don't Adults Fall Out Of Bed Like Children Do?

Glad this thread is still here because I coincidentally came across a tidbit of statistics – A 1997 book called _Danger Ahead_ has a figure of half a million Americans go to the ER each year for injuries sutained from falling out of bed. (The figure does not mention if it’s chidlren or adults though.)

Oh, crap. My dad’s on CEPAP to combat his sleep apnea, and I move around so much in my sleep that I wake up on the floor most mornings.

Well? Is there a connection?
