# Why dont most laptops have a "tap to click" feature?

My work laptop does have the feature!, but nowhere near as good as a macbook.  
I tried it out for a couple of hours and it felt really jittery and wouldn’t even click sometimes…  
I resigned myself to sadly clicking the normal way, or using my travel mouse [for now].

Thanks for this. I’ve just turned it on on my iBook and am loving it. Works well and is far less intrusive than the rather loud click of the button.

Do non Macs have the two finger scroll? That’s my favourite thing.

[This](http://code.google.com/p/two-finger-scroll/) one works if you have a Synaptics touchpad
