Probably the only reason you haven’t seen them commonly available is the trmendous liability a manufacturer would face. Last thing I’d want to face is a lawsuit because some drunken frat boy injures someone with something I built. Justified or not these suits always go for the deep pockets and the manufacturer is the simplest one. This is already a common thing in firearms.
Hunting and target shooting of course
