[Why](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=630899) is this tomb called Grant’s tomb anyway? Was it some sort of a land grant or something like that? ---

Technically, it should be called Grants’ Tomb, as it contains both Grant and Mrs. Grant. ---
