Some of us find geeky, well, enticing. Hence the breathless “sigh”. ---

I don’t usually join in these discussions, but it has come to the point where a very few dedicated people are working very hard on behalf of a multitude of malcontents. It’s almost Christmas, a time when many of us are winding down for time-off. Jerry, meanwhile, is working on these problems, which he doubtless is juggling with a number of other projects. He is communicating to us what he’s doing and what remains to be done and when. It is my opinion, worthless as it is, that anyone finding anything to complain about with respect to Jerry and his work is a… well, is something that I am willing to discuss in the Pit. Jerry, thank you. And fuck anyone who thinks you don’t deserve appreciation. ---

I am curious about the MST reference. Does that mean the servers are not in Chicago? If not, then the main hub of technology in Mountain Time would be…right here in Denver! I wonder where they are… ---

I honestly can’t imagine someone being so in to a message board that they go in to an explaination about a tiny outage to a SPOUSE that is to such a degree that the spouse laughs at the thought of exaggeration. I honestly can’t get over the fact that you were explaining slight message board down-time to someone to the degree that they laughed at you “unreasonably”. I really wish this was the pit… ---

Your post is little more than an attempt to demean another poster, and it belongs in the Pit. Simply saying “I wish this as the Pit” doesn’t give your post a pass, so don’t expect it to.
