# Why, Hasbro, why? (A Transformers 2 thread)

Don’t blame Hasbro, blame Michael Bay or blame Hollywood. All Hasbro did was license the characters/concepts out, then make toys based on the movie based on the toys. They didn’t actually make the movie.

The first one had some cringy moments, too, like masturbation jokes and Ratchet casually commenting that whatsisname wanted to mate with whatsername.

I don’t disagree with you that this stuff shouldn’t be in these movies, I just think you’ve aimed the blame in the wrong direction.

TNN? They turned to Spike ages ago, and some of their stuff they’ve aired makes the questionable stuff in this movie seem almost quaint.
