# Why hasnt china expanded?

Because China.

Also, Berlin was a cause celebre protected by a large, local coalition of allied forces. Who would have come to the aid of a blockaded Hong Kong?

Would you, in the same position, seriously have refused to hand back HK island & TST? I certainly wouldn’t have. I agree totally with the passport issue, however.
