> How did you calculate it was two minutes? [The final call](http://abcnews.go.com/US/trayvon-martin-arrest-now-abc-reveals-crucial-phone/story?id=15959017#.T3FGRPUxM2s) between Martin and his girlfriend began at 7:12. Does anyone have a link to the length of that call?
>
> Does anyone have timestamps for the 911 calls?
>
> [The police report](http://blogs.chicagotribune.com/news_columnists_ezorn/2012/03/trayvon-martin-shooting-death-initial-police-reports.html) has both Time Dispatched and Time Arrived as 7:19. Both responding officers reported they were dispatched around 7:19. So I can’t tell for sure what happened at 7:19. It could have been:
>
> -During Zimmerman’s call and police are dispatched to the neighborhood
>
> -The first 911 call after the shooting
>
> -Time police arrive on scene
>
> Anyone have anything more definite?

Your times are off.
You’ll have to decode the dispatch logs.
Smith arrives @ 717
iirc hes dispatched @ 713

A cop on another board broke it down and found the guide to their 10 codes

>
> The call came in to the center at 7:09pm. As evidence at the top of the page 2nd to the last in that PDF file where it says “Connection: 2/26/12 19:09:34”
>
> Where it says under that “Created”, this indicates that the information was entered into the system in order for the call to be entered into the calls pending screen. Essentially the event in the computer system was “created”.
>
> Note. The description of the subject was given between 1909 and 1911, however the information wasn’t entered until 1911 due to getting information into the computer for the call creation, etc.
>
> Note the call details in the lower half of this sheet indicate a time/date stamp, terminal ID, employee number, Radio ID, and a section called CmdID. Under CmdID the term REM refers to remarks added to the call by the call taker.
>
> At this point on, all call remarks were entered within seconds of that information being told on the audio, which I recommend one listen to the unedited audio when looking at this call.
>
> At 19:11:17 Officer with a Radio ID of S1312 was dispatched (DIS)
>
> At 19:11:59 Zimmerman notes that the subject is running towards the back of the complex
>
> During the audio, you can hear the wind through the phone indicating that Zimmerman is running.
>
> Note, none of this is entered into the call comments. Error on the calltakers part, this should have been documented.
>
> At 19:12:13 Officer S1312 who was dispatched above checks as enroute (ENR). Any number of reasons why the officer wasn’t enroute until a minute after being dispatched, and really nothing to harp on. Coulda been out of his car taking a piss, getting a drink, having computer issues, ANY number of \*\*\*\*.
>
> At 19:13:12 Zimmerman tells dispatch to have officers 1056 him at Complex Mailboxes. 10-56 means to meet up with him according to that area’s 10 Codes. Consistent with his statement on the call audio.
>
> At 19:13:27 Officer with a radio ID of S2711 is also dispatched to this call. And is shown to be checked enroute within the same minute. AND a REM (remark) is added noting the same.
>
> If you care to note the REM is made by someone with a different Radio ID than the actual call taker (Call taker is P1867, the person who added this remark is P1839), this most likely indicates that the DISPATCHER (different person than call taker) receieved radio traffic from S2711 that he would be enroute to the call and added him. Officers do this sometimes and the dispatcher can edit their status (enroute, arrived, dispatched, etc) from their terminal.
>
> At 19:13:41 the call taker indicates the COMPL (short for Complainant, which is a term used for the person who called) is now requesting LEO (law enforcement officer) to 1045 (call him) before 1056 (meeting him) which is consistent with the last thing that Zimmerman said before they got off of the phone.
>
> With that, it is safe to say that the phone between Zimmerman and 911 ended around 19:13.
>
> The call indicates that the next activity was S2711, who we know to be Officer Smith arriving at 19:17:11.
>
> The rest of those codes, im not real sure about, like EVM (might mean Event Management)
>
> I AM sure that EVD - DUPE indicates that this call in their system was what is considered “Duped” into another call. This usually happens to a call when multiple calls come in regarding the same incident (Duplicate calls). My guess is that this call got “DUPED” into one of the later 911 calls indicating the fight or the shooting, as calls reporting something of a lower priority in connection with something of a higher priority (shooting) are duped into that higher priority incident in the system, if they are dealing with the same thing.
>
> Also, you can tell when listening to the audio that the windy sound stops well before the end of the call, indicating that he was no longer running. He also indicates that he lost sight. He also mentions finding his truck.
>
> He also mentions several of the actions of this guy he was looking at in the beginning of the call that never got entered into the call, which is \*\*\*\*ty work on the call-takers part.

He didn’t have to cross the street. He just had to go about 100 yards further south and go in the back door.

I have seen that graphic and others. The impression I get is that the house he was headed to was across the street.

Do you have any more specific information that would tell us which side of the street that red dot is supposed to be on?
Cause afaict, that dot is in the middle of the road.

It’s probably been mentioned a thousand posts ago, but all those houses look alike to me in broad daylight. Easy to imagine a visitor there not being sure which house was his in the dark.

Does anyone know the address of Martin’s fiancee’s house?

Based on the police report, it seems that the left hand side (western) of that section of Retreat View Circle has the odd numbers.

If he was going in voluntarily, but said, “I’ll be happy to go with you and answer any questions, but I’'d like to get this bloody shirt off me,” and the police said, “Fine, we need that shirt for evidence anyway,” tell me why that’s impossible?

It sure seems to me as though people have been excoriating the police not not seizing the bloody shirt (if it existed) as evidence.

Now you tell me, “I mean, please,” as though it’s absurd the police would have done such a thing.

This latest video casts strong doubt on Zimmerman’s story, and for the first time I’m of the opinion that police did have probable cause to charge him, and I’d be very curious to learn why the prosecutor’s office overruled that (if they did).

But see my sentence? It’s sprinkled with words like “opinion” and “if they did.”

Why must you cast your opinions in such ironclad form?

So apparently, not only is Martin some hardened thug, he’s also a character actor from a 1950’s western.

Couple things of note. First is that Zimmerman was listed as wearing a read jacket. Second is that Zimmerman was immediately taken into custody and transferred to the PD. He wasn’t interviewed at all by responding officers. But the bloody nose/grass stains comes from one of their reports.

Let me ask again – is “taken into custody” synonymous with “being arrested”? I am sure I’ve heard the police say they didn’t arrest him for lack of probable cause.

And, if he was never arrested, why is he arriving at the police station in handcuffs? Would they do that for someone who volunteered to come in to make a statement?

Tracy Martin’s girlfriend is named Brandy Green, but she is renting her townhome. That doesn’t seem unusual. Retreat at Twin Lakes has 260 units and over 120 of them have owners with different addresses. It looks like the Zimmermans are renters also. The only Zimmerman at Twin Lakes is at a different address than the one shown on the Orlando Sentinel map.

These things can be detected w/o an interview I bet.

I’ve been in a few Florida gated communities and it is hideously easy to lose your way. The houses do all look the same. My parents rent down there every year and I have to really make an effort to ensure I’m pulling into the right driveway, even when I’ve done it a dizen times in four days.

I was struck by that quote as well. The entire reported exchange seems cartoonish.

[QUOTE=Washington Post]
Trayvon Martin appeared from behind a building in Zimmerman’s gated community, approached him and demanded, “What’s your problem, homie?”

When Zimmerman replied that he didn’t have a problem, Martin said, “You do now.” The unarmed teenager hit Zimmerman, knocked him to the ground, pinned him down and told him to “shut the [expletive] up.”

During the beating, Zimmerman pulled his gun and fired one shot at close range into Martin’s chest. “You got me,” the teenager said, falling backward.

No, they’re not the same thing. You can be detained in custody without being arrested, and the police may cuff you without arresting you.

Many (most?) departments have a policy that any person detained and transported is placed in cuffs for officer safety. No probable cause needed.

And just to clarify something I said earlier, while I STILL advocate waiting for the complete report before reaching any conclusions, I am prepared to say that if there is no additional evidence explaining why Zimmerman looks so uninjured in the video, then I don’t believe his story.

Can you confirm that the townhouse even has a back door? Mine didn’t. Or it might have a back patio that only unlocks from the inside. I think far too much weight is being put on the amount of time it _should_ have taken Martin to get home, without taking into account that he was likely scared, maybe tried to hide, and is in an unfamilar neighborhood where all the houses look the same.

This paired with the supposed “You gotta problem? Well now you do!” [POW! SMACK! BIFF!] of Zimmerman’s account sounds completely made up.

If they are looking for a unit. 3051 Retreat View is available for rent and has a nice crime scene view.
