Y’know, **BigT** , while **Inner Stickler** ’s post did come off as a bit dorky, I take something of a “no harm, no foul” view of it. Consider: Mr. **Manassas** ’s entry to the thread was post #32, at 1812 (PDT) on Sunday. **Inner Stickler** ’s little stunt was at 2246 (PDT) on Saturday night. Sure, it’s _possible_ that **thefiringonfortsumter** did a vanity search today, but it’s far more likely that he was directed here by [this post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=12752854&postcount=142), submitted 45 minutes before he showed up here. Provisional conclusion: **Inner Stickler** didn’t really play a significant role in the troll’s awareness of this thread. ---
