What would it look like if you always assume the worst of your political opponents and they always fail to disappoint you? (That sentence is unwieldy but I’m keeping it.) Given that America has masked secret police snatching people of the street and a concentration camp called Alligator Alcatraz, I think he’s been wildly naive about the motivations and character of conservatives. ---

I don’t think you’ve earned the right to ask _anyone_ to back shit up. You are so far behind on backing your own claims up after repeated requests that anything you say from this point forward can only be seen as yet another attempt to carve out a new set of rules for conservatives based on nothing but hubris. ---

I think it’s an aspect of the general unwillingness of right wingers to respect or tolerate others. _Other_ people are supposed to submit to their every whim and act of abuse; not demand that they obey _rules._ Rules are for the _lower orders._ People with the wrong gender, the wrong skin tone, the wrong nationality or religion; _those_ are the people who are supposed to obey rules.
