In 2019 I was pretty anti-Trump but not full-on Democrat. Not long after, I was turned off of anything Republican. 2020 was when I finally said fuck anything to do with conservatives, I am a liberal now. I was done with them. Especially in a Pit thread devoted to gun control, where I was saying I didn’t want to give up my gun and said why. People didn’t jump on me. Turns out, the board isn’t going to attack you for having traditional conservative opinions. They’re going to attack you for being an asshole. As time goes on, and it becomes more clear that being a political conservative means being MAGA, you **can’t** express what conservatives believe in without being an asshole. It’s like trying to be one of those white supremacists who doesn’t hate people and isn’t a racist, and wants equality.
