I second **Ann Onimous’** statement about the weirdness of obituary sections. Some charge by the word after a certain number of words, some charge by the word after a certain number of survivors are listed, some will not list anyone except blood relatives (regardless of the length of relationship), some will not list anyone after the first-degree relatives… I’m so sorry for your loss. ---

Please don’t dislike your family for this, the various agencies one has to deal with after a death can be really forceful in how THEY want to do things and the bereaved sometimes don’t have the strength to insist on what they want.
