I never said that anybody owed anybody else any answers. My point was ONLY that I felt that attempts to not allow us to discuss it were a bad thing ---

I for one am very glad that we got to see the resolution to this and didnā€™t have it just get shushed down, because the result is that I see that BarnOwl was having some sort of bad day possibly related to medication or lack of sleep or whatever and that heā€™s since realized that Quasi was joking and has apologized, etc. Had I not seen that, I would just be sitting here still thinking ā€œwow, that guy BarnOwl is a total nutjobā€ and would probably skip future posts by him etc etc etc. As it is the situation is resolved and in the open. I think things like that are important in a community. What a bunch of blood-sucking sharks. It was obviously a one-off incident by a seemingly decent guy. He took his warning with grace and even put himself in timeout so he could hopefully cool off. The explanations given that he is a cancer patient, probable stress/drug-related over reaction has NOT been respected. Then Barnowl does come in and apologizes, him and Quasimodem have come to an understanding, and still **Rigamarole** and **OpalCat** want more? Rubbernecking asshats. ---

And the quote from **OpalCat** says pretty much the opposite of what you summarized it as saying. In the quote, sheā€™s not expressing a desire for more from **BarnOwl** , rather, sheā€™s expressing satisfaction at the way things have turned out. -FrL- ---

Yeah, what **Frylock** said. My purpose in posting to this thread in the first place was to voice my opinion that it not be shut down, because I felt it was important to be able to discuss it/figure out what was going on/etc. In the end that is what happened, and it worked out very much for the best. If we hadnā€™t gotten to hear the end of the story I think many of us would have lost respect for BarnOwl and actively disliked him due only to what we saw in the other threadā€“as it is most of us now realize that it was a one-time thing and donā€™t hold it against him. That would not be the case had the thread been closed at the beginning. I might suggest that **FarmerChicke** try to read for comprehension next time.
