# Why is Chrome saying this board is  not secure?

I take it you haven’t been here in a while.

How are you getting to the site?

If you have an old link you might have it listed as “[boards.straightdope.com](http://boards.straightdope.com)”

Or [http://boards.straightdope.com](http://boards.straightdope.com)

The actual url nowadays is **[httpS://boards.straightdope.com](httpS://boards.straightdope.com)**

Using those old links will give you the “not secure” message. HTTPS is secure.

Please look to see if that’s the situation. If this is not the case then we got something else going on and in that event get back to us and we’ll look further.
