# Why is Football in America so very regimented?

Must have missed that bit, you see there is no shaking a man once he’s made up his mind.

The one thing that kills me about play calling and inability to react and change is seeing a snap and a hand-off for a run, then a cluster-fuck happens directly in front of the runner and what does he do? Run directly into the pile of people for no gain. The Vikings running game used to specialize in that sort of nonsense.
