Back in his _Will & Grace_ days he just went by Sean Hayes, no middle initial. He’s had some work since W&G and, as far as I know, he didn’t use his middle initial then. But he has a new show coming out on NBC this fall and in all the promos his middle initial is being used. Anyone know what’s up? ---

If you google his name with the “P” you get just him. If you google his name without the “P” you also get some other guy who is a musician. ---

A far better name would be Just Jack. ---

Could be that the actor had to join a union that the musician is in (musicians union? Stage actors guild?) and the musician got there first with the name. ---

Who ironically is also named Sean P. Hayes. This sort of thing is why some of us use made-up names online, professionally, and so on.
