My hypothesis has long been that anal is kind of a “freak” indicator as to how far a woman would go. In other words, it’s not that guys actually crave the inviting rectum.\* Rather, there is the conviction that “if she’ll do anal, she’ll do anything.” \*Rectum? Damn near killed 'em. ---

In my limited experience, even women that were ‘into it’ - some subset of that 36%, presumably - still considered it an alternate activity. Vaginal sex was the staple; anal the occasional option. ---

Of my scientifically proven 15.7% that enjoy it, 66.3% greatly enjoyed it but only on occasion. 33.3% enjoyed it each time and she wanted it every time in conjunction with other stimulation. At this time I am not looking into expanding my sample size but who knows what the future brings. Science marches on. Who am I to stand in the way? ---

Maybe the younger generation digs it, but even men that I’ve dated (and there have been a few) were mostly not keen at all. One guy pestered me constantly, one guy said only if I was super keen (uh, no) and all the other have ranged from ‘no thanks’ to ‘eww, that’s nasty’. YMMV and all that. ---

Among our peers at certain [venues](http://trapezeclub.com/), I’d say the practice has about 60% participation rate, with DP getting 40-50%. As they say… If some is good, more is better!
