# Why is IMHO and MPSIMS a lot alike?

Is that really a question? The staff here doesn’t use “Cecil” as a pseudonym for Ed Zotti, they act like he’s a real person. In the interest of “Fighting Ignorance,” it’s good to have someone point out that that’s not the case.

It’s called “organization” and helping people find what they’re looking for. The board organizational structure puts different types of discussions in different places. It would be a bitch to have to hunt down the different locations - “Where did I leave Cafe Society, again?”

There are plenty of ways to participate that do not require looking at the board main menu to find the forums. “New Posts” allows you to go to any active thread that is new, regardless of forum. But the fixed board structure lets stuck-in-the-muds like me function.
