# Why is is so difficult to engineer a car that can go over 200 mph?

Sure, but the OP was talking about a Lamborghini, another car that handles like shit in the snow.

The purpose of the Eliica was to prove that an electric “supercar” was possible, and to develop technologies that would trickle down to regular electric cars. Like the electric motors in each wheel that can operate efficiently from 0 to 12,000 RPM.
