I knew it I Knew It, I KNEW IT!

Men ARE always comparing us to playboy models and finding us wanting. Stupid talkshow hosts are always trying to claim that they don’t, that it’s just that whole “evolution” thing.

HAH!

It’s the two or three weeks of excuses for not being in the mood that gets wearing to negotiate. After a while you’d just as soon indulge yourself by watching some wild and unrealistic fantasy, such as a fit woman participating in sex with enthusiasm, expertise and enjoyment. It may be as realistic as pro wrestling but there’s plenty who find that floats their boat too.

Well… okay, I’ll take it that you’re as hot as all get-out. In that case, while there’s explaining going on, there’s a small return favour I’d like to ask. 😃

Feel better for that “gotcha”? One man says something that supports your hypothesis, and you get to say you were right all along? We’re not “finding you wanting” when we look at someone prettier or more compliant than you, any more than you’re “finding us wanting” when you read supermarket romances. (Heh. By Mrs M’s bedside now is one about some young woman who goes to work for a French count, he can’t resist her, one night of passion and he wants her for his mistress, she’s outraged, but she gets knocked up and, I’m guessing without reading further than the blurb, the baby is the cement that seals the deal for her. So she gets to trade up several social classes and about three orders of magnitude financially, and only had to put out once. Must be an “evolution” thing.)

Who wants to bet that the actual OP should have read, “I was snooping through my boyfriend’s computer, found porn, and now feel inadequate and angry and betrayed for no real reason on which I can put my finger, but it can’t possibly be my fault (because I’m hot and thus should be desired exclusively and at all times), therefore I’m going to blame him for not appreciating me enough and would feel a whole lot better if random strangers on the Internet agreed with me unconditionally?”

You ARE taking about you, aren’t you, **Lorac**?

I know I’m a big one for inserting smilies everywhere (and too many of them usually), needed or not, but I thought the silliness of that post was pretty apparent without one. Guess I was wrong. 🙂
