Do you think we’ll ever get past lazy people who won’t write/start their own threads, but will manage to dig up other people’s threads from decades past? We know its an old thread. Posters aren’t brilliant for just Googling threads and posting to them. :rolleyes: Sorry, don’t know why if someone has something to say they can’t at least try to string their own words together and start something new. ---

I feel I need to chime in here. I “know a guy” who’s not very sexually experienced and never had an orgasm with sex alone, (he ‘needed a hand’ after every sexual encounter he’s ever had.) The best orgasm he’s had was alone. He’s still trying to understand his relationship with sex, and perhaps it’s because he always used condoms to be safe, or perhaps he just needs more practice, or maybe he’s never been with the right woman. I know this guy very well… like the back of my hand. ---

From this particular male POV, it’s pretty simple: Being intimate with a woman is sexually arousing. Why? Because it’s how most of us guys, including me, are hardwired. Pornographic photos and videos, or the fantasies my imagination can conjure up, are nice, but they’re still hardly the same thing as the actuality of a live, warm naked woman right there with you who’d like to do pleasurable things together with you. One is the image or the fantasy, the other is the real deal that the image or the fantasy is about. So sex \> masturbation. ---
