Kept meaning to reply but got busy with work this weekend. I don’t know how much time he got. She’s doing well, I saw her a few months ago at her brother’s wedding (obviously he isn’t my roommate anymore). Happy and healthy and all that. Thanks for the good wishes! Am I a bad person because I’m really enjoying the thought of this guy in his orange jumpsuit eating a nasty blogna sandwich in a cold cell right now? It’s a strange sensation to get joy from someone else’s misery. ---

Glad her attacker is where he deserves to be. What I’ve quoted above - your practical, brilliant, perfect response to the situation - would have gone a long way to help her through. It’s great that everyone is saying good on you for supporting her. I’m saying good on you for doing \*exactly \*the right thing to let that girl know she was safe and secure. There’s nothing like a simple cup of tea for helping you get back to ‘normal’ when you can’t find your own way there. \*Seeing \*the windows get locked and the darkness get shut away. I was lucky to have the same treatment after an attack - it makes a huge difference. You deserve the ultimate kiwi compliment - good on ya mate. ---

So any details on his plea deal? Was it rape or sexual battery? How long will he be in jail? and just out of curiosity, how is he and roomie’s sister? Is the roomie a cop now? ---
