Why is the clock running slow? The answer’s obvious, isn’t it? The Halrequin felt sorry for the hamsters and just happened to have a few jellybeans left over from his last stunt. ---

I’m trying to think of a situation in which the discrepancy would make a difference for the poster. Besides those that prompt this scintillating thread. Time warping on the edit window, now that’s worrisome. ---
