# Why is the SDMB membership declining, and what's the best way to add younger members?

I checked before I posted to make sure: [It is in The BBQ Pit.](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-horror-of-blimps/152885) I suppose it could have started out in MPSIMS and been moved, but I don’t see an indication that this happened.
