# Why is the stock market doing so well?

It’s a short term indicator with an institutional bias, I think, so that makes sense. No one seems worried about the short term. Reports are positive, the Leading Economic Index looks good. I don’t see an obvious reason why the streak won’t continue for a while, and I hope it does.

Long term, :shrug: still uncertain. I see the jobs report for March was good. I _know_ there’s a mad dash for technology to replace living, breathing workers. I can only guess at the economic impact of that.
