So, in a nutshell, **Chicago Reader** provides the server and a portion of the manhours of IT guru Jerry. But the Mods and Admins are all volunteers, who receive no compensation other than a coffee mug. It _almost_ makes them sound altruistic, until you consider all the hot SDMB groupie sex they get. ---
