I thought the man had died and I missed the news. Could find nothing on the interwebs about his untimely demise. So I have to assume he is still living. What gives? ---

Because Melissa McCarthy got tired of it and finally told them to knock it off? (Actually, it’s been a while since I’ve seen one of those ads with McCarthy…there’s probably been someone else, lately.) But…yeah, that’s was a weirdly popular clickbait strategy, for a while. Or more likely it’s just used by one site that spams a whole lot. Sort of the ‘X hate them’ of 2016. ---

Maybe it’s a wake for his career. The second Paul Blart movie was the final nail on the coffin.
