# Why is this considered a thread shit and not just a benign hijack?

If you read the section in the Troll thread, it seems that the poster who flagged it thought she was contradicting him for no good reason except to threadshit. [I disagreed.](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/trolls-r-us-resurrections/950518/14330) I thought that he had misinterpreted what she was getting at (thereby not threadshitting).
