The original OP was asking a question I have asked- with all the terrorism in the world, the millions if not billions of people who hate him, the thousands of people ready to die for their cause, the large number of times he is out in public, why has no nutjob even taken a shot? Less hated people have had attempts, why not him? ---

Guys, grow up. Poor **VCO3** is simply trying to post his observations on The Blacks and have us all help him figure out why The Blacks act so crazy. We don’t even need to waste our time discussing the truth of the observations, as he’s got confirmation directly from The Blacks themselves. We just need to brainstorm and figure out the cause of these crazy differences between The Blacks and us. Once we do that, maybe we’ll know enough to start figuring out the language of The Blacks and maybe someday make contact. **VCO3** will be our Rosetta Stone, but only if we can be mature enough to work with him on this, and not against him. ---

Come on guys, we all know blacks are so loud because [Macs are so goddamn expensive](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=409292) and since blacks are all so poor, they can’t buy one. That’s the real reason they don’t drink coffee … they can’t go into coffee bistros without the requisite MacBook. I’d also imagine the fact that Macs are also so goddamned white probably makes blacks pretty angry too. Thank goodness there’s a black MacBook now! Cracka-ass Apple ain’t be keepin’ the brothers down for long! In all seriousness though, I’m just surprised anyone still reads VCO3’s posts. I pretty much began scrolling past them after his Mac thread served to show us that he slots somewhere between a cheesecake and a pet rock on the scale of analytic thought and reasoning. ---

If you were more grown up, you’d be able to skip past all that tedious “provide evidence for your assertions” part of things and jump straight into “connect the random dots until a picture emerges, like maybe a pony?” That’s where the real truth lies. ---

VC03 is right of course, and I know why. It’s clearly James Brown’s fault. What is unclear is whether or not Mr. Brown (aka “the Godfather of Soul”) wanted his command, “say it loud”, to be taken so literally. It does , however, attest to James Brown’s popularity among The Blacks™. ---

I’ve heard the camping one before, from my MIL specifically. So I tried to pay attention when we’d camp at various parks in the Midwest, and by golly they were all extremely white. But I’ve got to say, if I were black I’m not sure I’d pick that particular opportunity for challenging the status quo and improving race relations. Not in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by a lot of rednecks doin’ thar fishin’ and huntin’ an yellin’ after thar kids “Quit pokin at that dead possum an git yer lazy ass in this RV right this instant, ‘Wheel of Fortune’'s about ter start.” Not to, like, stereotype or anything. ---

Why don’t black folks drink coffee in coffee shops? Assuming that’s true, and considering the marginal utility of purchasing a venti-decaf-skinny-cappucino where you can get a quarter’s worth of coffee and a dime’s worth of steamed 2% milk for $6.50, I’d say it was because they’ve got more brains than money. ---
