Why is yogurt thought to be beneficial?

No, it’s has 7grams of “sugars” not sugar. And the 28%, that’s for the calories, not the content. Not to mention proteins have half the calories per gram as sugars.

yogurt is selectively spoiled milk (cultured) that will last longer without refrigeration. similar preservation is done making cheese, thought that lasts longer and takes much longer to make.

it is tart, different from sour. you can sweeten it with sugar or honey. you can add fruit. you can mix it with dry cereal.

it is milky goodness.

Unless I’m missing a nuance, they’re both 4 calories per gram. Fat is 9 calories per gram. (And alcohol 7.) Perhaps you’re confusing fat and carbs.

Seriously? I could name a host of things that I enjoy eating. You really think there’s some objective scale on which there’s nothing better tasting than yogurt?

Fruit preserves are childish? What do you put on your toast, baba ganoush?
