So…Israel should disarm to the level of Hamas so that the fight is fair?? Yeah…there is a great idea. As to the OP it’s already been answered…Hamas DOES use IED’s. The real question is…why doesn’t Hamas use IUD’s? -XT ---

The Palestinians have home built incredible rockets that seek out and destroy only women and children. That is pretty advanced in my book. You do not kill a movement by wiping out the leaders. You just take people who were unlikely to act ,get motivated enough to get involved. Does anyone think after this shooting fish in a barrel exercise finishes .the Palestinians will think we deserved the ass kicking because we are bad people and we will fight no more. ---

IEDs are most effective against supply lines and patrol routes. To be useful, you have to be able to place them behind enemy lines and when you won’t be seen placing them. In other words, you need distance and an enemy that isn’t advancing, but has already established itself. Gaza is tiny, and Israel is advancing. IEDs can do some damage, but conditions are by no means ideal for them. Sua ---
