Most people don’t know anything about computers. They imagine the hacker is a pale looking guy with a goatee, wearing Goth clothes (they wouldn’t know the term Goth either) hunched over a computer in a warehouse or a dark room. On the screen is a literal representation of a firewall, being broken down as the hacker is typing hundreds of keystrokes. When he finally breaks through the firewall, the screen explodes in pyrotechnics, then glows to represent that treasure that is now free for the taking.
